the playroom
lately, i've been thinking that it would be really great if i could grow trees in my apartment. they'd just grow up to the ceiling, and then continue to grow across the ceiling. i guess the roots would get too big for any pot, so your whole floor would be a pot... and there would probably be lots of bugs, and that would be gross... but i still like the idea of a tree ceiling.

I think actually having a tree in my room might be impractical, but your drawing makes it seem so inviting.
funny how our minds are so conditioned - despite the children hanging up frames and the obvious wallpaper, it still seemed like the outdoors to me, the trees have such presence!
jack/jill should move to costa rica for the real canopy playroom.
